Over the past fifty years, leadership development and
training has focused primarily on equipping individuals with skills to
manage their external environment - skills such as effective
communication, team building, decision-making, negotiation and conflict
management. These will continue to be important leadership skills.
However, such skills comprise only half of the leadership role. There is

solutions.
David has learned about leadership through his significant community
leadership and involvement. Founder of Alvis House, a halfway house for
adult ex-felons in Columbus, Ohio, he was honored when the Board
commemorated his leadership by naming their newest facility Dunning Hall. |
